When searching for a home to buy or lease, I understand how important schools are for families with children. It is usually one of the first questions my clients, friends, and family ask me when viewing a home: “How are the schools in the area?” In many cases, in my experience as a Mississauga real estate agent, buyers are looking to purchase a home in a specific neighborhood because they want their children to attend the local school. The Fraser Institute is an independent, non-partisan research and educational organization based in Canada. The institute rates and ranks Ontario schools. Their school report cards offer detailed tables showing how well schools performed in academics over a number of years.
