I am honoured to receive The Pinnacle Award in Austin, Texas, in recognition of being one of the top Realtors worldwide.Below are the answers to the questions they asked me. Thank-you!

1. How would you describe your business?
Team McDadi is like a well-oiled machine that is constantly running. We pride ourselves on meeting all of our clients’ needs. We have developed a business model that provides our clients with exceptional services, whether selling or buying a house or business. Through every step of the way, we have a team of individuals that take the stress out of selling or buying a home.

I aspire for Team McDadi to remain a business leader. We will continue to set the bar high, to really push the envelope when it comes to providing the best possible service that everyone selling or buying a home deserves.

2. How have you been able to outperform other top producers in your market?
I think first and foremost, one of the main reasons why I am a top agent is my unwavering commitment to real estate. I have been in the business for more than 25 years and I can honestly say that I love it today and as much as I did when I was starting out. I work hard; I don’t sit back and reflect on our achievements, rather, I keep reaching and striving to make Team McDadi even better.

Because of my long-term vision, I work to try to ensure each client is 100% happy with my services. I know a happy client is going to refer us and our team. I am not interested in making the quick sale. I have clients that I have helped buy and sell homes for decades. Most of our business comes from referrals and repeat clients.

There is also something to be said about economies of scale. Because of the number of sales we do, Team McDadi is able to offer in-house services that smaller teams or agents just can’t afford to. We have a complete team of graphic artists, photographers, media specialists, writers, stagers and designers, as well as inspectors, who are on the team to directly help our sellers get the highest price on their homes.

3. What do you look for when building your team?

We look at both personality and work history, when it comes to building a solid team. It is very important to me that we build a cohesive team that cares for each other and connects; everyone on the team needs to be a team player. We are like a second family and we all spend a lot of time together. We go on vacations together, we get together on the weekends and we attend some family functions together. So it is crucial that everyone on Team McDadi is truly a team player.

Secondly, everyone on the team has to be honest and sincere in their work. At the end of the day, it is my reputation that is on the line so I need to ensure that everyone on the team is working whole-heartedly with the best of intentions for our clients and friends.

4. What keeps you motivated?

I am a firm believer in the power of excellent nutrition and regular exercise. I eat very well and I work out every day, whether it is playing tennis or lifting weights. Being active means I can bring my best to the table for everyone on the team and for our clients. Fueling my body with great foods is also very important and keeps my energy going.

I am also completely committed to real estate and to ensuring I remain a leader in the field. I don’t sit on my laurels and reminisce about our results; I always want to improve and attain new goals. I am also motivated by my mentors and their results and successes.

The real estate industry has changed so much over the past 25 years and it is evolving so rapidly that there’s always something new to improve upon, whether it is the Internet and marketing, or staging and presenting homes for sale. I work hard to ensure that even through these industry-wide changes, I remain a leader in the field.

I am also humbled by the continual support I receive from colleagues and clients, friends and family. It is privilege to be in the position I find myself in and I am greatly motivated to live up to those expectations.

5. What advice would you give to an agent starting out today?

It is a competitive field and requires a firm commitment. It is important that new agents don’t give up too quickly. It can be hard going in the beginning, so it is necessary that you love real estate and love what you are doing. This isn’t a career that should be looked upon as a means to providing quick wealth. I recommend all new agents stay honest and work exceptionally hard to do their best for their clients.
